About

English Version

Kresna Luginawati is a Localization Professional with language pairs English to Indonesian and vice versa. Recently she starts her career a professional writer as her calling because she finally finds her true self, life mission, and purpose of life. She starts her career as a Localization Professional at a joint-venture company in South Jakarta. After 5 years worked as a full-time translator, she worked as a freelance translator for 10 years and back to work at the same company to pick up where dreams left off. She’s also registered as a full member of The Association of Indonesian Translators (Himpunan Penerjemah Indonesia).

In her spare time, she loves to write topics about what she observes in this life, what she experiences in this life, what makes her passionate and more alive. To her, becoming a translator is a dream come true job, becoming a professional writer is her calling, and cooking is her hobby where she tries new complicated menus but challenging to cook. Her recent life theme is “Connecting the dots – Everything perfectly makes sense -“. Moreover, Steve Jobs said that “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny life, karma, whatever.” If I may add it, you also need to connect the dots of the past with the present so that both times connect to your future.
